Thread: Dog coat, what's everyone using?

I wonder about animal fabric coats. If left to their own devices, what does nature do?
Vislas come from Hungary don't they? Weimaraner from Germany... not exactly tropical during winter months.
If their end of working life had been short they would have bred a different dog.
As for protective fabrics for such as pig hunting or pushing through matagouri and blackberry that's a different issue. Yes provide them with protection..
If you're Visla etc shivers in the Mai Mai or while you sit on a hill, the obvious answer is you have the wrong dog for the task. They are meant to be high energy, on the move critters.
