Bo hasn't done a night shoot on ducks yet.So took him up to a night feeding pond for some dry action with no gun of course.Gave him 15 minutes to run around with no command then sat him beside me to see what its all about.He nearly ate the duck caller out of my mouth. Few more dry sessions and he will be onto it!

@Dundee I've really enjoyed watching Bo's progress on these threads and am really quite envious! Every time I sent my dogs to get a hare, they play tug of war and then eat it. Useless dogs. Useless owner!
@Dundee
We're overdue a Bo update mate. How's he going?
Bo is by myside every night after work whether it be hunting rabbits,hares or plopping off magpies.He is a real pleasure to work with and has grown quite long,hes not fat but geeze we walk bloody miles thats probably why we are both slim.
A few pics since the last update.

A lot of time is spent at the river fishing too.He will spot trout and help out with the fishing.

Had a guy fishing with me one night and never took Bo with us as I didn't want him to get in the way of his fishing.The guy lost his personalised vape somewhere along a 4km stretch of river.
I took Bo down the following night and he found it!

A legend is in the making...
:thumbsup:
What a pal you've got there.
BTW that's a strange coloured hare he's got there. Black on the back and hind quarters? Or is it wet or something?
Yeah it was a very dark hare,by the way that hare was shot in November the terrain is tinder dry now makes it very hard to spot the hares out there now.Attachment 131668
Yep I went for a walk over the road two nights ago and they certainly aren’t standing out like Christmas tree lights like they usually do. I found them along the edge of the stream right on the fenceline, literally the only place where there’s anything even vaguely green.
haha that's what I need, a fishing dog :)
Bo looks like one choice dog
Bo and I stayed in our bubble and I shot this hare from 80 yards with the .22 Stirling.
