@kiwiswede , Gorgeous looking dog mate.
At this stage i've decided to put my hunting for a new dog on hold as I'm moving to Canada to do some guiding there, and then hopefully back to Scandinavia for a Holiday.
Jamthund/ Swede Elkhounds are very difficult to get here, and the closest thing i found was a Norwegian Elkhound Breeder in Aussie (Poor dogs - The Norwegian is a Long Haired Species, unlike the Swede)
There is a Finnish Spitz breeder here in NZ , but she seems more intent on them being "Show Dogs" rather than the hunting dogs they are supposed to be. She wouldn't sell me a pup.
The only other option being Canada , as i'm relatively certain Sweden won't export.
perhaps when i come home I'll try and import one.

@Wildman
Well aware how they're used for hunting mate.
I guess it depends how the hunter hunts.
Other than that, Looking for a good mate as well.
