Neighbour's Dog got over my bitch...

In MY yard! Probably a km away. "They were only away for a half hour so thought they could leave him off"
Me... didn't even notice him, I turned my back to roll a smoke and the bloody slut got under him.

Fortunately for him I hate shooting dogs.
Potential sire is black lab/something-pointer. Nice enough nature in the time I wasn't swearing about him.
Dam is greyhound, nz cattleheading, english pointer. Lovely nature. Good nose.

So, if puppies then probably a reasonable generally-any hunting cross. In line with my "i hate shooting dogs"... does anyone want some puppies later this year?

I be keen...need something with a nose to reap all the lost animals from hunters using thermals...never had these losses when they were spotlighting.

When I say 'keen' I mean 1, not the bloody litter.

why dont you go to the vets and get the doggy morning after pill , and send the bill to the dog owner
Be more involved and less impressed.

Takes two to tango. Pretty big ask expecting a dog to ignore nature.
When I have a bitch on heat I make sure nothing can get to them.

I hear ya...A fellow I knew had a couple big Rotties behind a 6ft fence and in an enclosure most of the time....At one point he had to advertise his litter of unexepected puppies as 50% purebred Rottweiller and 50% something that can clear a 6ft barbed wire warehouse fence......They were cute puppies and had massive feet. We told him his dog must be into geese or something....

Many years ago, my truck driver del some Timber to an old lady, put the Timber in the drive way and knocked on the front door, lady told John she was waiting for a guy to bring around a dog to put over her pedigree poodle. Yep old Troski had clawed the window down on the truck. John ripped round the back to find Troski chocker up the poodle. He ripped him off, in the truck and away. Wonder what the pups looked like and her face. Troski was a mongrel Lab/spaniel cross!!

lol yep that is a keen dog. I've seen a Rottie climb over a 7 foot fence once. No run up, just hopping up and down on his back legs till he got his front feet on the top, then did a "chin up" and over the top he went. I was working in a boarding kennel at the time so he went on the chain since it looked like none of the fences would keep him in.

I'm sure you wont have any trouble giving away the pups Mimms 2. Also a pretty good chance she isn't up the duff but time will tell aye.

Seen a collie climb up the corner of a deer fence, just using the netting as footholds on both side of the corner
