Heck Ernie, that is a bloody good run out of a dog :) she sounds like a great girl. I got 13 years out of my last Rottie boy. I thought that was a pretty good go for one of them.
Tropo, I'm sure I've had a couple of Meth labs before :D

Towards the end was funny as.
You could take her to do some firewood.
Realise she hadn't come home and find her still at the site waiting.
I'm heading towards 60 wouldn't have another as they are just so fast/fit and quiet.
2 bounds would have her up onto a bench above you in the bush while you were still figuring where to scale it.
Became helicopter crazy would leap into the pilots arms to get shoved in,had to keep her tied up until we flew.
The whining while this was happening was terrible.
Will scan some more when I rat out the photos.
Home alone wifey in ChCh new grandson being popped out so while I have the remote watching NZhunter etc and dare I say it the Chiefs.
was thinking about my old ridgey gentle giant absolute in his loyalty to my wife and never needed to bark or growl to stamp his authority on unwanted visitors , just the look spoke volumes (back off or else) in his prime he weighed in at 55kg

gotta love those rotties pretty smart one of mine had really good hearding instinct use to help the ex catch her horse
Yeah my old boy was pretty smart. I taught him a heap of tricks.
My Huntaway is no thinker that's for sure. A real goofbag compared to the Rotties :)
Got the dog in the pond for retrieving practice in prep for opening.

He could of at least got you an eel out of there or maybe a pinecone :)
Great fun though aye, when they finally understand what your asking them to do. Good luck with her :)
Attachment 108080 my mate moki looking pleased with himself for finding a bit of redskin I hid. 6 month old heading dog/lab. Have just started taking him out with me the last few weeks. Has been onto 3 deer so far but haven't shot any over him yet. Bloody cool watching him do his thing
Here’s Fern. Now 10 months old. She’s coming along ok. Easy to train, basics pretty well sorted. Awesome retriever, especially in swift water. Im resisting the urge to take her on the hill after deer, had her on a job with me today and there were a lot of deer about, her nose was going overdrive. Bit of a barker which I hate - her dad was the same. Stubborn as f. Hopefully she’ll settle down with age - her dad was always a arrogant prick. Good hunting dog though, just a prick [emoji23]

First day in the bush for this fulla, ranged out a bit far a few times but kept checking where i was so not a total screw up. Swirling wind kept us busy. Plenty to learn and looking forward to it
Macha ... she went to Australia ...

Good work you two
Attachment 108732 moki on his 4th hunt. Spiker was 130m away in the bush so he didn't see it but made him take me to it where it dropped
Cool foto, @Tahr ...
Yeah mate...the photo tells the whole story....awesome stuff!!....a conversation without one word being said
@gsp follower, not only are they sort of neat dogs, their prey drive is huge and makes for some exciting times in the rough!!!
Went for a drive up Mt Hutt yesterday and let him out of the Ute, a few minutes later he came running back with thishttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bacd50cef5.jpg
Maybe he ate the rest and decided to give you a treat :)
He couldn't look more pleased with himself if he tried :pacman:
Go the mighty Fluff :)

Mine, it's name is Bullet, 7 years old now
Here is my latest, Lily. Her mum is a border collie, huntaway, smithfield cross, Dad is a heading dog. She is 10 weeks old tomorrow. In the past I have had a weimaraner and two GWP's so she is my first non-versatile breed.
Attachment 109638
Sounds pretty versatile to me:thumbsup: nice looking pup you have there @stug
Cheers @Sideshow fingers crossed I can train her up right. My other dogs were bird dogs first and deer dogs second so they didn't go as well as I would have liked on deer. Lily will be a specialist deer dog, looking forward to the challenge
Elsa...our new Lab pup. Pippy getting on a bit and Magnum needs someone to get up with him.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ac0c825c46.jpg
