Anyone know someone that wants a 12 month old Vizsla.....?
Details of why it needs a new home would help in finding one, plus a photo.
Male/female
Family pet but family moving to away and cannot take the dog. I will get some photos up as soon as I receive them.....thanks
Location would likely be helpful too ?
Take it has been sorted, little detail, no photo's.
2nd hand info so maybe it's being drip fed from the source ?
Sorry no photos yet ....Male dog, all jabs, and neutered, viewing in Auckland. Had a PM but no further messages. NZHS site has been down and not sure my reply was received.
Photos uploaded now......this is a really serious dog...couldn't get him to smile
Can't believe no one wants him...
We'd take him in a heartbeat if we could .
Sad...
Would take it if it was in the south. Anyone shipped a dog recently between islands? Whats the process?
Not surprised he's not smiling. Made to sit next to the cat and not allowed to drive.
It sounds like a sad case.
Getting an older dog can be a bit more work to integrate him into the rest of the fir baby family ( as well as the 2 legger one).
Kimber, it can't be too hard. There was a company called the "pet bus" I think. They used to go up and down the country.
Found them

Just to add to Rugerman's post, there is another company called "Swift small animal couriers" that I have used to transport a partridge that was very good.
A medium dog is $280 Interisland- they don't do large dogs.

Nice looking Dog. I hope a good home can be found for him. 12 months is plenty young enough to train up.
So how would it go moving him in with an unfixed 2 year old - ie Remmy ??
Would they get on?
From our experience newtered dogs don't get on with him and are very aggressive towards him - would this fixed dog be the same ??
We would be happy to take him possibly if we knew the two would get on....
Pm sent
Got a pup down from Kawhia a few months ago, used the pet bus, was a hassle free experience.
They text you a day out to let you know where they are and on the morning of arrival they give you an approx time when they will be at drop off point and about 1/2 an hour out you get another text and when they arrive you will again receive another text.
not sure where your closest collection point will be, you may have to email them to sort something out. all in all , a great service
(you also get a free blanket that was in your dogs cage)
