About LinkBacksThe standard 7mm RUM is no work at all and with a properly designed lead/throat and barrel type/length can spit the 180g Berger out at 3400+ fps, if you want more barrel life or less recoil just slow it down, 95 grains of 2225 will give you 3225 fps or thereabouts with a 162 grainer, and you will have what you want.
The Berger 180g Elite Hunter projectile is extremely useful around those velocities, even so the 26 inch 338 Edge with a 300g Elite Hunter projectile is streets above it in barrel life, internal and external ballistics uniformity and terminal ballistics performance.
The Edge and RUM are childs play to make ammo for.
