    Something unique........

You see a lot of long range rigs about an they all look the same or much of a much.
So I sort of set out to be a little different an make something that not many would have done?
And in that go as light as could also with in reason.

Started out with a action I had left so put that to good use, changing things a little on this one, making the port size little smaller leaving more meat in there, leaving action as a cylinder also keeping it bigger and stronger to get rid of some flex. Mag cut out also smaller for same reason
So the actions kind of ended up little heavier, added a alloy side release for good measure..........Been titanium its not a lot anyway so was happy there.

    Next step was the bolt.......
Cut the nose off a ptg a had, them fitted a bit of titanium to the back of that for the main body, ant Ti handle, alloy knob tho ( threading Ti gets to be a pain the the arse when small) add in there Ti bolt shroud and firing pin shaft. Bolt body was made over size also to match my race way reamer. Ti recoil lug to keep in check

The stock is Stronghold Innovations, Its a very nice stock, the bedding block itself its a big moulded bit of carbon fiber, its a ambidextrous stock that looks a bit funky but she's a dream to shoot, Its not everyone's cup of tea but Its a very well put together finished stock.

The Barrel is a Trueflight and once again Grant an the team have nailed it, was little copper from the word go and now its very easy to clean with minimum effort, The few barrels I have got off him lately have all be top notch barrels are are right up there with the best, She's a 28" finished length and 1:8" twist as I like a bit of RPM on my projectiles and I was worried about the 175gr Nosler LR AB as its what I had brought enough to burn out the barrel so HAD to to get them going well and seems they are not liking speed reading the Internet. Barrel is fitted with a Ti brake also. And had the barrel carbon fiber wrapped.

    Then was scope choice.
I picked the March 5-40x56mm FFP, It ticked all the boxes the best, good glass, nice features, low profile and weight/size for what it is, is quite small, its same size as a NXS and shits all over them.
The big mag wasn't needed but will come in handy to use as a spotter.
The only other problem then was rings 34mm tube..............And I have a pet hate for rails they look gay..........
So I machined up some billet alloy for them also, getting the right height needed to clear an keeping it low as possible, the scope has limited travel (plenty for hunting) but also machined some cant into my rings, Sight says 68MOA but I have 70MOA up from Zero, and 15MOA down. Also bumped up the thread sizes in action and rings so they are going no where in a hurry......

    Them bottom metal.
I had HS precision on my old one and got use to having mag's, but everyone who has felt them they weigh ton, so also set in and made a alloy billet on to take the HS mag's.

Trigger I copied a Remington standard trigger and used some parts out of one an make what I could lighter an better, has ended up nice trigger but its driving me nuts about 1 in 20-25 wont cock have to lift bolt up and put it back down and is away so things to work on still.

All metal work painted black to match up with the rest to make her somewhat of a dark horse

Also still waiting on my new atlas bipod to come as my other one went on customers gun as he had to have it........

Looks to shoot well so far an the 175gr Nosler LR AB to me not shooting is almost a myth as I have run them well in could of guns now, an these are been pushed along well at 3375ft

3.31 Kg without bipod on it, going to gain a little tho to make it better balanced

Anyway enough of the blab........Here's the gun................

Its not everone's cup of tea
