My mistake might have been to call it Mohawk . I can't remember if this one has the Mohawk letter engraved on the side or not. The rib was definitely original. I had to cut it down in order to fit the over barrel suppressor. This one was a 243. I have done a few 222 and 308 as well.

JBM recoil calculation for a scoped Remington 600 .350 Magnum shooting a 250gr bullet at 2500fps.

    36.5ft-lbs

Holy shit. That’ll sort the men out from the boys.

@Flyblown haven't put a round through it for years but just did the calcs on JBM for my 416 rem mag. 340gr at 2600 in an 8.5 (its probably a little lighter) pound rifle
    43 ftlbs. Its definitely stout
That 350 rem mag is kicking

Get into it flyblown. Redding do a trim die so you can form brass from 7mm rem mag or ? 338 win mag.
Quite collectable. Does it have a laminated stock?
200 Hornady and 225 sierra be mint as the long fellas will hamper things in a short action.
    Downloaded pistol bullets and cast?
Take a concrete pill, you'll love it

I find recoil comparable to a 180gr 3006. Those jbm calcs seem a little steep

Yeah @stevodog, I've been thinking of toughening up and getting a man rifle instead of these ladies rifles I shoot most of the time. It is appealing for sure but that Rem 600 but its a quirky wee rifle. I've never had a hard kicking lightweight before, but yes that little carbine certainly got my attention but it doesn't really fit with what I want next, which is a Browning BLR in .358 for the real heavy forest red stags round our way, which I can't find anywhere. The rifle that is, I know where the stags are ha ha. I thought about it though... It isn't technically for sale and I'm not inclined to make a silly bid. That guy has got a couple of other unused rifles that I'd buy ahead of that carbine any day.

Past a certain price, it might be worth rebarreling a model7 or even a tikka with which you could set up the pills further out of the neck. And true flite makes the barrels in 35 now.

    Oh good info, stainless ?
I've got a Finnlight 2506, been thinking of chucking the 1/4 bore tube, and doing a 35 whealan.

Yep, I would go for a long action in 350 rem mag as well. Being restricted in Oal is less than ideal.

that ought to sort out your heavy stags flyblown. Maybe a retailer can get a 358win blr in their next shipment?

After a busy month of September, I am back posting pictures of the guns that comes through our workshop.
This one is an AR 9mm upper with the fore end trimmed down to suit an overbarrel suppressor.

@Friwi Would your 35cal cans work on a 0.366" bore? A 9.3x62 of some kind?

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
