    Check out my knob !

    Sorry, couldn't resist .........

More correctly, check out one of my new custom parts offerings for gunsmiths or hobbyist wanting to replace the military bolt handle on their old Mauser or Springfield, etc.

Basically this is an improved version of the Talley bolt handle with "graceful teardrop bolt knob" that I used to be able to get from Brownells, but which has been 'un-obtainium' for the last several years due to export BS restrictions.

This version is a little longer and a little wider at the base, where it is to be cut and welded onto the rifle bolt body. All CNC-turned in one set-up. Base section can be gripped in the lathe chuck for when polishing, prior to cut & weld.

Although there is not a huge demand for these now (compared with 20+ years ago when it was a regular job for me and other gunsmiths sporterising old M98's etc), but just thought i would let guys know that i will be having a few able in stock (probably in 1018 mild steel) for anyone who wants one for a project rifle, or to replace a butchered up bolt handle that may be on their current rifle. (prototypes in photo are actually in stainless)

Price (for one only): $25.00+gst, plus courier. (Probably be able to do a special discount for guys who want 5 or more?)

Email is best contact for me (don't get to check PM's much).

Lol..... Yeah. Talk about reviving a post from the dead ! Hopefully got a few laughs.......

I do have some of these in stock now, as mentioned, in 1018 steel, just incase anyone wants one for a project rifle or upgrade job.

    Cheers, Dean.
