    DOC hut warden volunteer

    Anyone been a volunteer hut warden for DOC? Going through the application process now, long line of questioning, just seeing if it's worth it.

    I did it for a season in Tongariro. Was shit money but in a nice area. Working a season for them doing tracks and weeds would get you into some nice places and you'd probably get paid more.
    Things might be different now though. I did it 25 years ago
