Does anyone on here know how the penalty system works for a width penalty?
You might need to check with an official douglas scorer for that detail.
It only applys if the width is excessively wider than the length
If the spread is greater than the length of the longest antler, then the difference is multiplied by 3 and the total of that sum is subtracted from the spread measurement. In some cases, this can be very penalising to the overall score.
