    Frozen whitetail skin and tail

    Can anyone recommend someone in Canterbury that can tan the skin and tail for me? Both in the freezer at present, the skin isn't much bigger than a bath mat but I'd rather someone that knows what they were doing does it than me.

    Leeston tannery do great work, currently have a fallow in there being done. Just hope your not in a hurry as he's pretty busy

    My fallow was a large winter coat doe and the cost was $195.00 so I imagine your whitetail would be less than that.

    Not prepared to have a crack with a leidreters kit?
    Little bit of work but comes out ok
    Did a whitetail skin 30 years ago. Only skin I ever did lol.

    Cheers...looked at a kit and was $99...so figure easier to get done by someonw knows what they up to.

    Try high country taxidermy in west Melton he does good work and is very well priced

    I've used him a few times and dropping a tahr skin in Tomorrow. Good guy ole Barry. Had a head to deal with that I shot and came out to the work being locked down and walked me through how to keep the head sweet for a euro without any gear in a little shit townhouse.
