Have some skulls to seal off to prevent decay,
From the research I've done acetone and duco cement is a good way to do it..... Anyone used this method or what other methods have you used?

I know a bloke who uses varnish. His finish is a little too glossy so maybe a satin finish would be better. Was certainly eye catching
I've done most of my bone with cheap clear spraypaint from Bunnings or the like - had no issues whatsoever.
I have found 2 things though, the prep beforehand makes a big difference in the bone 'colour' and satin vs matt paint makes a big difference.
Matt is much nicer looking.
hair spray, works a treat but you have to give it a new coat every year or so
I use 50/50 mix of PVA glue and water. Seems to work well
