    Show me your trophies!

Not sure if there's an existing thread for this, but I'm keen to see everyone's trophies! From euro mounts to full body mounts, show me what you got. I'll start.

    - Left: My springbok shot in South Africa, professionally mounted
    - Middle: My red stag shot in NZ, 7 points, velveted, professionally whitened (my first decent deer shot in NZ)
    - Right: My brother's impala shot in South Africa, professionally mounted
    - Bottom: My brother's young male tahr shot in NZ, he cleaned it up himself.

Here’s my trophies to date. Certainly not record book examples but special to me triggering the memories every time I look at them. A bit of a mixture but shot where I have lived in the last 30 years. One thing I have never regretted is spending money on quality taxidermy! My early ones shot ( early 90’s) still look as good as the day they were done.

I'm drooling over that kudu mate, they've got the prettiest horns/antlers of any species. I was once given the opportunity to hunt one, but unfortunately it was a bit outside of the budget at the time. Still on the bucket list!!

Impressive room , looks like some very interesting stuff in the cabinets as well , always wanted a vintage decoy but they are very hard to find and expensive if you do

I think South City unintentionally killed the thread.

12 pointer from Willow flat Mohaka story with it - was culling at time and we were told shoot no deer on this place we were culling goats on - well I shot it and told boss - his words "the only reason I am not going to chop that up is because you might think I was jealous I had not got a better head - now get it out of my sight lucky you are not packing your bags - suitably admonished I went off and managed to bring head home

debateable it was an order not to shoot a deer from our Field Officer - we were allowed the odd one for meat but we were not to shoot without permission of the Field Officer - not sure about this joker though but I dont personally care really not the best I have shot that got stolen
