Bow Hunting Waikato

Hey There,

Im new to bow hunting. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any decent public land spots or private (happy to pay) around Waikato that would be a good start. I've heard of the Te Miro and Te Tapui blocks and was just wondering if anyone knew if it was any good for bow hunting these days, I can only find info on it from around 2017.

If you are comfortable navigating the bush, go up te tui track , with a good gps. I got my first deer with a bow up there 16 years ago .
