    Old broken wooden bow

    Hi team.
I’m hoping someone will know where or who I could potentially take an old bow to to get repaired. I’ve had this bow in it’s broken form for as long as I can remember. It was my dads as a kid and I’ve just happened to have it for years. While cleaning up I thought shit I should really get this fixed and no better place to ask than the forum! I’m Wellington based, but don’t mind sending it to the right person. Wouldn’t mind getting it strung as well. Without measuring it it’s probably about 5 ft 6 or 170cm. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey @G.I_Joel try Owen at https://www.toahuntergatherer.com/ I think he makes laminated bows too he should be able to tell you if it could be fixed.

Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.
