Damn. I've been umming and ahhing for a while about a vacuum sealer, and that's just sealed (hah) the deal.

I used to buy bags off marine deals but the sharp bits on the jerky would often put a small hole in the bag when vacuuming. Maybe 1 in 3 - hopeless !!
I just did 12 packets in a row.

Picked up the chamber vacuum sealer and couple of the larger size 80micron packs of the bags. A lot cheaper than the embossed bags. After a little tweaking of programs, it's been great. Oil filling was initially confusing but you really got to screw in the provided funnel adaptor tightly. Superb service from zeropak team all the way. Thanks Craig!
