Benjamin Sheridan H Series .22 Air Pistol

I have ended up with one of these.
    Are they any good.
Any recommendations on what pellets to use.

    TIA Owen

    Jealous....

But I would try a few different pellets around the 14-15 graines mark. JSB/air arms have a slightly softer lead than H&N and will probably preform best.

Thanks for that did think you would want to go a bit lighter weight in a pistol length barrel.

Yes lighter is probably best, there are a few "green" alloy options but these are quite hard and don't bite into the rifling like lead and sometimes not as accurate. I would personally get a few selections to try out. Light and medium weights

Put a few shots through it today.
Nothing too complicated a can hanging of a Wisteria.
Hit it every time from about 15 m.
Will try on a target when I have time.
That will be interesting as open sights and old eyes are an issue.
If it is reasonably accurate might see if you can get mounts to scope it to make up for the eyes.
Save me using the 12ga for the starlings.
Wife struggled to pump it more than a couple of times but will coach her on it.
