A colleague of mines dad is getting rid of his collection, she says it's ww2 era revolvers and pistols. What's the best way to get rid of them for a fair price to the old fella?

If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.
The market is a bit flat of late due to the current registration debacle but people are getting used to it and the market will bounce back. Auctions get the fastest returns and quality items always sell well, ordinary items not so much. Greg Carvell is worth talking to in Auckland to see what his auction estimates would be on the items. Don't expect too much good news in the short term.
