    Price drop for Christmas

    Hi everyone,

    https://www.piercingthedarkness.co.nz

10% off of my already ridiculously cheap prices on selected torches and headlamps.

Check out my Custom Built range of hunting lights for cheap, performance comes close to the leading brands.

I've been making YouTube demos for every model, most are finished but yet to be uploaded - here's my channel

No other store in NZ does what I do:

    - YouTube demos
    - Test lights upon receiving
    - Test before shipping out your order
    - Clean all connections
    - Lubricate threads
    - Test all battery batches to ensure authenticity
    - Measure the lumen output to give an accurate rating
    - Labor free repairs after a warranty has expired
    - Offer mods to certain models
    - Builds custom models

Wish you all a safe and enjoyable Christmas, take care out on the roads at this busy time.

    Regards,

    Jacob

Just opted for the Convoy Z 1.

Is this also suitable , " shock resistant wise" for attachment to a rifle /shotgun?

    thank You.

I don't see why not, but it's not a model anyone has ever purchased from me for that use.

My only concern would be it doesn't change modes from the recoil on the shotgun.

Not currently. I have a light coming for testing and modification. It has LED modules you can swap out. I plan to bundle White, Red, Green, and IR as a kit.

    I have two models:

Convoy C8+ with Cree XPL HI - 1hr 16min from High to 10% battery. That's how you measure to meet the ANSI/FL1 standard, from 30 seconds in, down to 10%.

    Convoy C8+ with Luminus SST40 - 46min on High

Tests are my own since Convoy don't supply any runtime specs.

These two models allow you to set levels 1 & 2 to any lumen value, so only 100% is worth measuring.

Have brought 3 torches already and possibly looking at maybe another one, Also recommended him to my work mates and they too have bought torches as well -- highly recommended and very good to deal with. Why bother buying off Aliexpress when you can deal with a reputable local dealer. Whats your opinion of that new sc31 pro ?

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the recommendation.

I'd say it would be one of the best EDC size models out there for under $100 but only if you like the Anduril UI. The UI is explained in the last part of my YouTube demo

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVYnyj22EjU

I'll be getting the IF25A in my next order and that would be better again, I'm getting clips for the existing IF25 and IF25A. The IF25 with tint mixing is so good, absolutely love being able to change it to whatever beam color I want from warm white to cool white. I haven't seen any other brand have this feature, same as the Sofirn LT1 Lantern

    Hi Joel,

I sent the Osram C8+ down to Mason for review, here's his Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/backcountryproductions/

Flick him a message to see what he has to say about it. Better to come from him, not me
