I heard about. À great loss for the shooting community. He was a really good man.
Unreal.
I was asking a well known forum member about Rob just this afternoon, if he knew what had happened to him as I'd been unable to reach him.
Sad news. Lovely guy, super helpful and friendly.
Rob, I am proud to say we did very well with your excellent cast lead boolits. In .308 we took so many goats, a few fallow and pigs, several reds, and a shit load of rabbits with my boys and wife. With the Ruger 77-44 many pigs were slain with your .44 cal HPs. Oh boy the fun and games we had with those boolits. All sorts of applications!
RIP mate, so sorry to hear this news.

Fark! Sad news indeed. Only a week or two ago I was thinking I must track him down for another couple of hundred of his excellent 308 bullets. Alas, won't happen now. RIP.
Damn
Sorry to hear that. Dropped in and saw him few years back when I first got into 44-40 to pick up 100 bullets to try. I mentioned I had to buy dies. Sent me away with his and left them with me for a year. Like a lot of folk in the sport he could be very generous.
RIP. He was a good bugger. He found some bullets for my 8mm. Money has been tight when I remembered and eventually forgot. Told him I still wanted them and he was fine.
Good bugger
Always keen for a chat and advice was spot on..RIP fella.
was this "the cast bullet kid" who published in nz guns magazine?
Met him a few times at the Tokoroa Shooting Complex, super friendly and a true gentleman.
Where ever you are in those big skies, I wish you well, I wish you much happiness with friends and family who you now get to meet again and may you continue your hobbies, peace be upon you.
Bugger. RIP Rob, I didnt see this post while away in the hills. Sadly missed by many.
