That is such a familiar story. If his name is John and his surname starts with J then it is possibly the same fellah but very unlikely as many were similarly afflicted.

indeed the guys got a raw deal from all sides. the things we do to our service folk are shocking and ramifications often not known for years..like watching nuke testing...
