Not badly priced ether. Will there be an option in the future for a pivoting one? so you can track left to right.? Not I like them.

The Aoraki and the Waitaki have both pan (tracking) and tilt controls. The Kaimai is just tilt control.

We shipped more to North Island Retailers this week. Reloaders in Auckland, Wilsons in Whanganui and Hamills in Tauranga. They all have the full range of product if you want to check them out in person.

Doug did an excellent video showing full range of movement on the Aoraki bipod plus how to install the picatinny rail included.

I agree. I was very excited when i first saw these, until i noticed the weights. Still some great design features and shapes if the carry weight isnt an issue for the situation.

Completely different beast though, I've got MTN, Spartan and had a Backlanz and these new bipods make them seem like a rickety old pile of matchsticks in comparison. I think its great to have ultralight options (with all sorts of gear) but ive found myself worrying less and less about overall weight of my gear these days and more focused on what can I afford to skimp on vs what is worth the performance gains by carrying something a little more robust.

    Hi Ken,
I was wondering if you did not contemplate to go with a design which would put the center of gravity lower with that middle bipod?

Purchased the Kaimai model a week ago, it is awesome! Very sturdy and compact. Only thing is the thumbscrew works itself loose when kept on the rifle for a long time. Otherwise, it is great value for a carbon fibre bipod.

@Ryan_Songhurst what are your thoughts on the Aoraki so far?
