I think its great. There seems to be a misconception out there that every bipod has to be super lightweight and compact etc which these bipods are not although they are not silly heavy either. However they are super solid compared to all the lightweight bipods I have and have had, MTN, Spartan, Backlanz. The range of adjustment is great and I find you dont need to load them up at all since they provide a solid platform, just pull the rifle into your shoulder and let the forend sit on the bipod and away you go. Have shot everything from my 222 to my 7prc off both of them and really like them. I'd take the weight penalty and carry the Aoraki over my other bipods, id possibly only use the lighter ones I have now if really doing some expedition type stuff where I was really focused on cutting every gram possible but day hunting and a couple days away etc I'd prefer the better performance of the Aoraki or Kaimai. Great that they come with the Pic rail also although I already have MTN rails on all my rifles.
Hunting and Fishing Masterton have stock of the Aoraki Bipod today.

Yes, or something more radical like that:

But I understand that the arca rail attachment will limit the tilt course left and right.
Took a punt on the Kaimai and pretty happy tbh. Lightweight and good functional adjustments, seems to work
