11mms liked post by blip On thread : Tips on reaming a chamber
Well the rainy day project was to ream the first of the hornets to a k. Pretty straight forward just went real slow and plenty of oil and cleaning as I went. Now I need a dry day for a test fire

11mms liked post by No.3 On thread : Reaming a die
You want the die slightly smaller than the chamber to allow for spring of the brass, but pretty much this is what happens with target barrels that were reamed with a custom neck-turn chamber. They...

Still not seeing anything that's going to reduce the weight of the things substantially enough to make a difference - the limiting factor with the utes is the fact that you hit the limits of Class 1...

Written quite a bit on this problem, dam rifle never feed rounds from new, destroyed a magazine, bedded the action 2 or 3 times, reinvented the new magazine, which is way better, goes in firm. Lost...

The white one is an escapee, It is a "rex' type domestic, bred for its soft fur for toys and garments etc. Lower meat production than the NZ white, which is a meat breed, and has a coarser coat.

Most tender part of the deer because it does no work. Makes a superb stew and would make a great rolled roast. I would brown the roast in a pan and then place it on kumera slices in an oven bag to...

Thats cool. When I was a lad I used to dream about shooting a deer with a hornet " 'cos "the cullers did" - I likely read an article in the old NZ Outdoors magazine about it. I used to work in...
