I would recommend the sightron s3. Just get the 6-24 you wont need amymore then that. Good glass too and cheap enough to buy in nz. ded stocks them. Have one on my 338rum

I have the same problem. I have found glassing from right to left works better then left to right, seem to go slower and see more detail.
