I feel Tikka's hit that 'practical lite' balance well vs some other offerings that are actually lighter as others have mentioned. A lot of the other lite options seem to go too light on barrel...

Yep 57grs of Superformance with the 145 gr ELDX, accurate and good on deer. SF is temperature sensitive so caution is needed if loading in winter then using the same loads in summer might cause...

So since I didn’t actually get any pressure when working up a load the other day curiosity got the better of me today and I decided to keep working up and see if I could find another node. Got to...

It’s all in the twist. I have both .243 Win and 6mm Creedmoor… One hits a whole lot harder than the other. You can see it, hear it, feel it. THWOP! If you want to kill a good sized red deer at...

Bone it out on the hill and only bring home the meat. Buy a cheap dedicated beer/meat fridge for your garage. Happy days

Is that the guy wanting $180 for 500g and $280 for 1kg?...Nope, he's from Canterbury, hope he gets stuck with the lot and has no use for it and ends up selling below cost.

Picked up some of the 85gr TSX and got to work on them today. 45.6gr Superformance gives 3140fps from the 18.5” barrel and stellar accuracy in fact it shot under an inch all the way from 45.3gr to...

I really pushed the envelope with the 80 Targex and .223 this morning (with a grandson). 330 yards back of the shoulder hit (lung, where I mostly go for with the .223). There was a bit of...

I use the same 80grn load in 2 rifles. My 20 inch savage chronographs at 2837. Haven’t chronoed the 22 inch Tikka but I expect it’s close to 2900.

80 gr .223 at 2900 fps, that is impressive and is hard on the heels of many 80 gr .243 factory loads.
