Took the 223 for a walk tonight and castled a shit load, just took a couple of pics for the forum but shot a ton more. Was trying to use up some lighter factory stuff so I can load some more...

I have never had a suppressor or a brake on any of my center fire riffles so I know nothing else. I currently have a 7mm Rem Mag and a 223 and I enjoy them both the way they are.

Thanks everyone for your input so far. We are only talking a dozen after a good sorting so probably just bin them to be safe.

Waste of time owning something you are too scared to use. My new Tikka 223 with laminate stock got covered with blood all over first night out. As long as you clean the riffle well after use...

Yep agree, one of my favourite threads as well. I love the mighty 223 and may not use anything else again if my early experiences are anything to go by.

I did a bit of reloading last night with my A&D scales, one kernel of gun powder = .02 of a grain. It's nice to have piece of mind knowing your loads are as accurate as you can get them.

A&D are great, I don't have the auto trickler but I don't load heaps. Very accurate scale.
