I found the Anschutz to small and to light, the weihrauch is a better full sized rifle. The steyr Zephyr II I was told will be around the $1800-$1900 point and should be available here anytime...

Kids .22,s have their place and always will and long may that last. But what I like, is proper rifles, not Rimfires made for people born in a throw away era. .

I have too many 22s but a quick google made me realise you can put an extremely fancy piece of walnut on one of these things. Fancier than fancy .22s, and in a real rifle size.

Try buy sell section, be $150-250 I would guess? Being a T3 bedding print there should be some fancy aftermarket ones out there too. Gives you the chance to build it up incrementally. Damn now...

Yep, I love my T1x (also a 16" barrel and DPT can). Easily sub MOA at 100m with Eley Contact ammo.

If you can find a walnut T3 stock it is an accurate wood/blued, is what he is implying I think. How many wood T3 stocks are out there? Probably not many.

I used a Tikka T3 lite 7mm Rem Mag and I love it, it does have a bit of recoil but you don't notice it much while in the moment of shooting an animal. My boy went for a 7mm Rem Mag for his first...

If you are keeping 243 then get 7mm mag. If not get the 7mm08.
