    Just a small pond . 50 m X 20 m . We have been feeding reguarly . Out of 75 mallards there were only 3 that were breasted due to gunshot wounds. Very fat birds. Great eating.

    Agreed. Shooting animals at LR is all about the 1st shot, its not a target that will stay still if you miss it, or hit it poorly, so the fact that your barrel is a bit thin shouldn't be an issue...
