55 and 65 inch pounds seems like a lot. I could be wrong but on my plastic Tikka stocks I torque to 35 inch pounds to avoid any unnecessary compression and on my carbon stocks with pillars I go 40...

I'd say it's a bit too slow. Iirc, it's a tad slower than 2208. In my experience, the slow for calibre ball powders with light bullets burn like coal (which isn't great for consistency or accuracy)...

Well sometimes you can't get old parts so you just have to make it from stock. This old Tikka had the bolt release missing and no parts were available so a few hours milling later and all working...

It cleans them up bright and shiney! Did that to an A-tec and all the anodizing came off. Made it very clean however.
