This would be a good argument for opening up army ranges for public/competition use at least a few times a year. Be good free training for the people in service.

I would go 7mmRM, tried and proven, can be loaded lighter and you have the extra grunt if you want it, heaps of loading components and factory ammo anywhere. I run my 7mmRM quite light, 162 A-Max...

Buy a 7mm rem mag. Use a suppressor and 7mm-08 type loads for bush hunting. Use a brake and full power rounds for long range Spend all the money you save on getting a high quality scope...

My DPT one is good. I think he prices his basic cans realistically for what they are. I reckon a lot of NZ cans are way overpriced for what they are.
