On the eastern side, there are a number of places they are already low. Stay out of any of the bigger streams in your 4wd, unless you have a driver that understands how Southern Alpine river systems...

The Nikon P-223 series have dial turrets, around the same price (ie $30 USD more) and are 25% lighter. Have a look at those too.

We are working on a new adjustable target buttplate and check riser for the AIL stocks . You will be able to buy a complete stock or just the components to change your existing stock .

Yes easy. I shoot 75-80% of my deer with my 223, have done for the last 5-10 years and I am usually shooting several deer a month. This past month I've shot 9 deer, all with the 223, all one shot....
