I did a wapiti block with a huntec bivvy tent for 10 days. that was interesting sandfly wise. They bugger off on dark so not that bad.

two dogs and a rifle is a great read. mostly about pighunting in whanganui area. some ripper yarns and so many pigs.

Dont know if you already do it but always make your skinning cuts with the knife blade upwards cutting from underneath the skin , you will get half the amount of hair coming out that way.
