re the trebly......I PERSONALLY BELIEVE some of the reason they were held in higher reguard than the .223 back in the day is they had better/softer projectiles..the .223 was fed harder 55grn jobbies...

Stick to a bolt action man Budget in a suppressor as they are quite nasty with out one Cheap factory ammo and great for reading wind drift. I have a weatherby 223 heavy barrel shoot great...

@Been_Upto do try an AR15 if you get a chance. Be warned they are addictive. I would also say Savage are not a bad option for a bolt gun.
