   re the trebly......I PERSONALLY BELIEVE some of the reason they were held in higher reguard than the .223 back in the day is they had better/softer projectiles..the .223 was fed harder 55grn jobbies...

    @Been_Upto do try an AR15 if you get a chance. Be warned they are addictive. I would also say Savage are not a bad option for a bolt gun.

    If you like your tikka, then buy another one in 223, and set the trigger at the same pull weight, so the muscle memory is the same from one to the other.
