This is my MkI stock right out of the mould, fibreglass at the moment while I iron out any issues. I'll fit it to a .223 to bash around with and try to break it, part of the R&D process. ...

What do you currently have? .223 with barnes or partitions, a 243 or 250 with anything and any larger calibre is more than enough.

You don't need anything special, a standard bush hunting setup will do the job. .308 or similar calibres will knock them down dead and cover goats and deer as well.

141771 I like my Thompson 308. Pulls apart and packs down with an Allen key. Accurate sub loads @100 yards and it is happy to shoot pretty much any thing you feed it.

Model 7 is not a youth stock, still standard length of pull, just a slim trim stock. Model 7 and CZ527 stocks make a nice fit for the Howa Mini. A Sako Vixen, A1 stock would be nice too.
