   If you can use what you plan to take hunting with you like your back pack or jacket its good practice I often use my pack or oilskin rolled up because thats whats on hand Id say you are getting...

   I had one of the FSS 410s shown to me by a friend and yea they are tons quieter than my subsoinic 77/44 which is very similar in bore size it was like a long 22lr sub sound like wooosh

    id agree with the rest of these as well 270 for the south island and 308 for the north anything similar to either would be fine but a magnum will be very expensive to shoot and boot like a mule

    it takes less than a day to fit a barrel, just ask when your spot in line comes up and send/drop it off then gunworks did a beautiful job on my sako, when I lived down there with a trueflight...
