Ba ha ha ha ha!! No, surprisingly enough, fox is not eaten here, but me mate reckons he likes to throw beaver on the BBQ. We shot one beaver a couple of nights after dropping the fox, but due to snow...

Roe bucks are back in season May 1st, I'm a few hours north of Wallin, but fingers crossed we'll both have some luck.... I'll post results on my thread, The North. Got 3500 hectares to cover....

I have a Swazi Wapiti in Goretex and despite the fabric appearing to 'wet out', which can make it a bit heavier, it keeps me dry and super cosy. Spendy though. Also have an ex-Army camo Goretex...

Great write up, thanks for sharing! I too have dropped more than one teeny goat after coming up short on the deer front. Moroccan style curry= mean. Reads like this keep me keen, not having any luck...
