It doesn't matter how much you spend on a chrony, you still have to validate the data by shooting your rifle at various LR distances. A more accurate velocity will just give you closer starting...

Thats what counts unless theres a pattern of faulty scopes. Theres plenty of leaupolds going back to be fixed as well as most brands of scopes at some point. Its just life, even the expensive ones...

Have you checked the rings, mounts & tried another known scope ? Real dumb stuff can happen in that area even with "good" brands....
