Biography:
Hunting has been a lifetime passion of mine. I cut my teeth on small game and ducks in the Waikato, then got into big game in the Southern Alps whilst at university. Residing in Tauranga nowadays I have come to appreciate bush hunting in the Kaimais, but make regular missions to the central plateau and south island for more open country hunting.

    I have used a pair of 8x32 binoculars for bush stalking for the past 6-7 years. I can think of a few times where I have shot deer as a result of seeing them 'through' the bush with the binoculars....
