Biography:
Hunting has been a lifetime passion of mine. I cut my teeth on small game and ducks in the Waikato, then got into big game in the Southern Alps whilst at university. Residing in Tauranga nowadays I have come to appreciate bush hunting in the Kaimais, but make regular missions to the central plateau and south island for more open country hunting.

    This is my issue, if you somehow magically bump the safety, then you are more than likely also going to 'bump' the bolt closed or fully open at the same time as they are right next to each other. So...

    I use a wind meter in conjunction with the chart, helps me to better learn wind strengths for those occasions when I don't have the wind meter with me. Same as having a rangefinder makes you better...
