I don’t carry much these days. Used to carry whole deer out when younger but that’s a good way to hurt oneself these day's, especially if it’s thick. Once was a pig hunter so carrying a boar out to...

I’ve been playing with the modular setup of my DPTs lately and it’s a great reminder of how simple and good they are. Want it short then leave it short. Want it quieter? Add a few baffles and it sure...

I can't speak to any of the others because I only use DPT. They work well and are a reasonable price. I have had no reason to look at other brands. The only comparison I have had is a...

Once you get it dialled in, you'll really like it. Instead of guesstimating distance, holdover and walking the bullet to target like with the 22, basically point and shoot. If you think distance is...

17gn 17cal projectile has a lot smaller surface area for the wind to act on too. Funny that the myth about excessive drift persists.

I purchased a CZ varmint some years back which was a big mistake as I didn’t need a varmint barreled rifle for hunting. Sold that and purchased a CZ452 American from Shooters World in Gore as they...

The last time I talked with the doc manager they were only paying for hinds over 40kg, I tried to point out that it should be paid out on any hind not just the weight the factory wants
