I sent a scope back to Leupold (directly to USA) recently for repair (tracking problem). Took about 3 weeks from posting to return. So, turn around is rather quick.

Make sure you aren't using any liquid cleaners on the lens as it will ruin the coatings/ seals which will lead to this, not saying that's why it failed but worth mentioning none the less.
