I've been into my local sports shop here in Taranaki (Magnum Sports in Stratford) on Friday and tried on quite a few. They had the Tatonka 30 & 35L stealth packs, Stoney Creek 25L, a host of...

Hey folks thought I'd put it out there that if anyone wants to check the zero on their rifles prior to their wap block flick me a pm and I can arrange range access. I'm away hunting from the 15th...

Been struggling over the last year to get out in the hills as much as I would like. With a small window available to me without wifey or kids I headed to a popular roadend for a quick overnighter. I...

It was due to a restriction after WWII in NSW on ownership of military calibres. Not sure if any other states imposed the law. No so much 30-30s but the classic one was 7.7x54 which I think was...

A couple of weeks ago Oliver and I walked around Ruapehu. It is a neat walk with the scenery constantly changing as you move around the mountain. 189003 189004 189005 I carried a rifle with me...

Big 14 from a couple of years back, been safely boxed up from taxidermist for last 12 months waiting for his chance to get to Taupo and go up on the walk. In rating the beast was a blast, I’d...

Have done that with my last two loads bumblefoot, probably a fluke but got the 150g oryx shooting in 12 shots and the 65g sierras in 7 shots. Followed up with some more to check and I'm happy. Will...

bublefoot...that is more than sensible,it is in fact what some of us do all the time, pick a charge weight somewhere in table that isnt maxed out and just load some and see if they shoot accurate...

You got me going on the Lee Loaders. One minute I am sitting in my chair sipping a cup of coffee. Next thing I know I am out in the shed surrounded by Lee Loaders and boxes of cases. The thought that...
