One carbon stock breaks and people swear off them. Ive known plenty of wooden stocks to break through the pistol grip. Im very happy with my carbon stocks. They are stable and light.

Not all are made equal, some 'carbon' stocks have a carbon frame underneath and have an outer of hard resin/epoxy. I have had three stocks like this made by PSE composites of Ireland and they were...

Hi, Myself and good mate walked 8.5 hrs, for a look into new country last weekend, with the plan to hopefully get onto some stags. Setup camp in rain and clag as per expected, next few days...

chainsaw liked post by Tahr On thread : R17 or N550 for long range
I don't know about the SD but I use both N550 and R17 a lot and both are fine out to the 500 yards that I shoot. N550 is great in .243 and my 300saum. I use R17 in my 300saum too - getting a...

Not a fan of doing this but I feel it has to be done. It’s up to us to protect our own reputation and image from the public eye, and to do so we must call out others from time to time when they are...

Then ditch the Sierra 110. Close to zero run out in a factory chamber doesn't achieve any better accuracy over run out of .002" in my experience.

You can remove the zero stop too which stops you being restricted to a single turn. This works well with a two turn moa dial. Love the 4w reticle.

Great scopes. The turret is not ideal for hunting, but you can still count the clicks when dialing. I’ve swapped mine out for an ‘element industries’ moa turret, nice nz made product. The one inch...

I never really liked it. Also, strangely, the small increments are set out in blocks of 5 as opposed to 4 which doesnt match 1/4moa adjustment blocks. That part particularly was a turn off for me. I...

Yep, been there and done that before I went to a .284 I found the .284 to be more efficient with shorter barrels where as with the .280 you need the full length barrel. I was at the time...
