I'd sell the 300WM and just get another 300WSM barrel, 1/9 twist, norma brass, rl26 and 215 bergers.....but thats just me, you may have other thoughts

chainsaw liked post by timattalon On thread : officer was forced to shoot at the man's car
Radiator and front end is a bigger (harder to miss) target lots of hoses and electrical to disable too so that would potentially be a better target. But as mentioned, how close is the truth to what...

I would not be surprised if the quote from the officer was more like...the offender gunned it down the road and burst a tyre and an officer drew his side ar thinking he ws shot at from the "bang".......

chainsaw liked post by gundoc On thread : officer was forced to shoot at the man's car
Like all news media, the article was a mixture of hype, supposition and fact. There was certainly not enough info to take the officer to task at this stage. On the face of it I tend to lean in...

Over the last several weeks we have been testing various loads in Beeman's oldest son's 300 WSM. Wayne was keen to run the 200 gr or 212 gr ELDX in his WSM so we started to develop a load. What we...

I load 71 grs of AR 2217 with the 150 gr ELDX for 3071 fps COAL is 84.5 mm. These loads have a slight bit of space once the bullet is seated. You should always try and select a powder that will fill...

chainsaw liked post by stug On thread : clarification 7mmRm + ar2217 + hornady eldx 150g
If you are firing over a chronograph then 5 of each load at .5gr increments will waste a lot of rounds and give you a pretty sore shoulder. With my 7mm mag I would load up 1 at each powder weight...

I think pressure would be more useful than altitude. Could just make some drop charts up with various settings and have a little flippy book :) Then all you need from the rangies is TBR
