I was using beam scales, my best guess is the beam somehow got stuck, or maybe contacted the trickler. I havent missed priming a case yet. I use a hand primer and check with my finger that the...

I loaded some ammo this afternoon. After weighing powder into the cases my usual procedure is to take the reloading block under the overhead light to check all cases have powder, and the level looks...

Yeah bacon is good, decent bacon will be okay for quite a few days without refrigeration, then cook whatever is left and it will last for a few more. The ultimate lightweight food is to carry in a...

I fairly regularly travel to the rifle range about 1.5 to 1.75 hrs drive away with several rifles, and always have to stop for a pee and or a pie. Rifles are in cases or bags and covered, along with...

I use ADI powders because they are easy to get. In the 243 I use AR2209 because it seemed to be the most recommended. I use 2208 in other calibres and could have used that instead.

Standing for me, though i sit when weighing powder so that my eyes are level with the scales. I'm usually only loading 10-40 rounds at a time though.

They don't make 2206 anymore, only 2206h. 2206h works in both 308 and 223 so would be worth a try.

I always considered 150gr as a middle of the road projectile for 308s, but mine likes the 178gr ELD-X so much that is my standard load now. But for fallow I usually take the 30-30 with Sierra 125gr...
