According to a guy at the local shop, quite a few people have or are changing to Palma/SRP brass for those cartridges you can get it in, 308, 6.5cm etc

If you are bringing it into the country you are importing it, no matter how or why you are bringing it in. For a rifle you would need an export permit from the States and an import permit from NZ

My guess is they are made for a rifle with a dovetail that doesn't have the recoil slot. They do a version that has a recoil lug on one side of the rear ring to fit BRNOs.

I think the guys at work got a permit for pukeko. One foggy morning I counted 60 in an area of about 6 hectares. I know they got a permit for ducks, and it was very strict on how many they could...

I think the forum consensus is that you should chop 270 barrels into 2 inch lengths and buy a 308 :P

Mum cooked up a puke casserole for us during duckshooting in 1979, so I hope they have been on the license for quite a while. It was nice. All birds are automatically protected in NZ, if a new...

Yeah, spur winged plovers used to be protected but now aren't. They aren't on the duckshooting license though, they are on schedule 5 of the wildlife act so no restrictions (other than being killed...

Bridge Pa is a long way alright and would cost heaps to fly, but I wonder if they could lease Chris's hangar for a couple of months thru the roar and base a chopper there....
