It looks like the screw holes for the rear base are out of alignment? If thats the cause and the dealer didn't do the drilling and tapping I personally wouldn't be expecting them to put it right...

I have never missed priming a case. I have missed putting powder in though, and more than once. Thankfully I picked up on it before trying to fire them. All were 243 as well.

I did it the other way, got it sighted in without the can, then put the can on and make the final adjustments. Less wear and tear on the can, depending how many shots it takes you to get sighted in....
